is kind of small for that imo, but maybe. you can run alpine linux on one of these. obv with the zerophone you don't have a normal display. if you intend to pair it with some kind of control surface it might even make sense to omit most of the buttons on the device.
i'd just use like a special REPL for that kind of thing. since you aren't going to be looking at it, all you really want is a text buffer.
